Here are some online resources that give you more information on the topics we learned today in class.

This is an animated picture of the Sieve of Eratosthenes that we introduced in class.
The Wikipedia article on Prime Numbers tells you more about prime numbers.
Here is an article about the progress made on the Twin Primes Conjecture by Yitang "Tom" Zhang and the Wikipedia article about Yitang "Tom" Zhang, which mentions the various jobs he held to make ends meet while working on the problem.
Here is the Wiki on Bounded Gaps Between Primes that we looked at in class. It shows the most recent value as mathematicians work trying to prove the Twin Primes Conjecture. (We would like to get down to H=2.) Pay particular attention to all the mistakes that were made by mathematicians as they worked on this, and how many different people made contributions.
Here is a Book on Primes written for a general audience -- no advanced knowledge of math required!
