Lesson #8: Wrap Up

This was our final meeting of the year. We did the following things:

• We had pizza and soda.
• We filled out surveys about CHAMP and had the students give feedback on their experiences in CHAMP.
• We passed out a handout on Information about Colleges in Houston and an article about the Best Jobs in 2014. We also had a discussion about applying to college and the benefits of majoring in a STEM field.
• We had a speaker from NSM talk about the process of applying to college, filling out the FAFSA, and finding sources of financial aid.
• We took a walking tour of the UH campus.
